After the girls went shopping at the outlet malls, we met up with the guys at a little place called Zelda's, right on the beach in Capitola.  The view was amazing, the weather perfect, and the water was freeeeezing!

We left Nashville at 2 pm on Thursday, and arrived in California around 7:30.  We actually ended up on the plane with one of Joel's friend and fellow groomsmen, Andrew Parrish, and his fiance, Lauren.  So after we landed in San Jose, we picked up our ride (a silver 2010 four door Jeep, Joel's dream car!) and the four of us drove to a cookout a friend of the bride was hosting.  We ate and met some of her family along with Greg, who was a hilarious veterinarian there in town.  We were pretty tired though, and left around 11 and crashed at our hotel.  Friday was a great day to drive around town (with the top off the Jeep, of course!) and take in the awesome views.  We enjoyed our time with friends, shopping, and the beautiful beaches.  The weather was a mild 70 degrees, and we were already having an amazing time!  And it just got better...
