The latest about Kennedy

Well, the biggest news for Miss Ken is that she is now crawling!!! Yay, Kennedy! ;-) This has been a big deal around here, especially since Natalie has been crawling for almost 3 months. Kennedy has been able to get up on her knees and rock for maybe a month or so, but would not take any steps forward or just fall flat. And she would often fuss if she was on her tummy too long. So one day both girls were in our bedroom and I was in our closet to pick out my clothes, and I look down and Kennedy is at my feet! I had sat her by our bed with some toys, maybe 10 or 15 feet away, and now she had made it over by me and Natalie. I wanted to cry, I was so happy for her! A whole new world to explore, and she loves it!!! Now she's hot on Natalie's trail, and can crawl, pull up on everything, and walk around her toys or the ottoman or whatever. She has great balance, and likes to walk while holding onto our fingers.
It's so fun now, for both girls to be crawling. They have a blast together and are constantly moving from one toy to another, smiling and squealing. We LOVE these girls!
Apart from crawling, Kennedy has three new top teeth, and another one cutting through on the bottom. So, six teeth total. I have been introducing her to some new foods, but until she got those top teeth, she wasn't really interested. She can pick things up, between her thumb and pointer finger. But for a few weeks, she would just spit out whatever it was I put on her tray. Now she likes to eat puffs, lima beans, cheerios, and bananas (although they are kind of slippery) She claps her hands. She can say "dada", "mum-mum", and "go." And of course, babbles a lot in between :) She is still as sweet as she can be, and a very good sleeper. She often wakes up and just plays happily in her crib 'til one of us comes to get her. She has got such pretty hair and can wear a bow, which more often than not, Natalie ends up pulling out of her hair. She doesn't seem to mind, though. She weighs about 20 pounds. She is truly a delight to all of us!
